What are some full sized rotor head configurations?

Hey, I’m thinking of doing a scale build on my trex 600 and was trying to figure out the rotor head configurations on some popular helicopters for ideas. The only 3 blade main rotor head I can think of belongs to an AS350 Eurocpoter and CH-47(which would be quite difficult to reproduce). Any others have three blades? I’m also equally curious about 4(apache, blackhawk) and 5 blade heads. 5 is the most i’m interested in. I appreciate your knowledge.

The design of a three or more blade rotor system borders on black art… either complex mechanical mechanisms or advanced design with composites is required.

Research the following rotor systems:

Teetering (two blade – Robinson, Bell, Hiller)
Fully articulated – 3+ blades (Sikorsky, Bell/Boeing/Vertol)
Semi rigid
Fully rigid

I bought a Walkera X rotation Helicopter Remote control Helicopter V4 for christmas. It will not work..HELP..?

The manuel did not help at all. It did not tell me how long to charge the battery. I have tried everything. All I get is a green flashing light on the helicopter. It will not respond to anything else. I bought it off Yahoo shopping @ egrandbuy.com. I have called and faxed and sent e-mails …but no response in 5 days…Can anyone help? This was christmas gift for my son…of course my name is mud…not working ..NOT HAPPY!

Hi hope i can looked it the copter on the web site. May be not to hard to fix? the charger you have is a standard one plug in wall plug bat in yes . it will charge for quite a while should have little lights on it . on the front. my little one not the same as yours charges for 2-3 hours or so.the little light on the copter is the gyro you need to turn on the radio first then the copter make sure the thing is sitting on a flat surface don’t move it. This is so the gyro can stabilize will flash 10- 20 sec. you need to have the throttle stick all the why down and all the trims centered.

How do I change the channel on my rc helicopter?

I’m aware of the toggle on the controller that allows me to change the channel. My question is: Can I change the channel on the helicopter? It came with a sticker on the bottom with the letter “A” on it. When I put the controller on channel “A”, it works just fine. Change the controller to “B” or “C” and it doesn’t work. Does this mean that it only works on “A”?

There surely has to be a way to change the channel on the helicopter. You don’t get to pick a channel when purchasing, so if someone bought two of them, they might get screwed with the same channel.
