Rtf Electric Micro Helicopter
RC Helicopter, Your Controlled World
Playing RC Helicopter Toy has really become a trend within the last couple of years. No wonder they attract so many people to since they are indeed pretty cheap and easy to fly. Even more recently, micro-sized helicopters toys have appeared in shops everywhere, and these tiny infrared controlled palm-size helicopters can be flown by kids down to 5 or 6 years old, although there are plenty of adults having just as much fun with them! Admittedly a rc helicopter toy can never offer the same level of satisfaction that a true multi-channel rc helicopter can, but products such as the Hot Rod helicopter and Dragonfly King, both shown below, are a great deal of fun and can certainly give you a basic feel of lifting an rc chopper from the ground. RC helicopters toys like this come completely ready to fly (RTF) – all you need to do is supply the radio control gear batteries, charge the motor battery and away you go! And the great thing is that they are very easy to fly, and robust too – so any heavy landings shouldn’t inflict too much damage. Buying and flying Mini RC Helicopter have become a lot more affordable and easier in recent years, thanks to the advances in radio control technology that have allowed much smaller and cheaper servos, receivers, battery packs and motors to be produced. How RC helicopter toys work. Single rotor: Helicopter toys such as the Hot Rod have 2 motors, one to control the main rotor and one to control the tail rotor. The throttle stick of the transmitter controls power to the main rotor motor and the rudder stick controls power to the tail rotor. However, the relationship between the two isn’t as accurate as it is on a proper model helicopter and this is why the directional control of the toy is sometimes a bit vague – if the tail rotor isn’t giving as much thrust as it should, or is giving too much, then the fuselage of the helicopter will want to turn of its own accord and send the model flying off in a direction that you didn’t intend it to. But, with some degree of practice it is possible to keep these things flying in a small area. Contra-rotating (coaxial) rotors: Contra-rotating, or coaxial, toy rc helicopters such as the Dragonfly King have no need for a conventional tail rotor because the main rotors spin in opposite directions to one another, so cancel out the effect of torque and hence the need for a tail rotor. Turning is achieved by slight variations in speed between the two main rotors, relative to each other, which upsets the torque balance and spins the fuselage round to the desired direction. Coaxial helicopters can be flown much more accurately than the toy single rotor helicopters, and they generally stay in whichever direction that you put them in, making indoor flight even easier. Toy rc helicopters definitely ‘fill a gap’ that has existed for way too long; when I was a kid I always had to settle for the kind of toy chopper that sat on a handheld base and shot off into the air at the pull of a cord, spinning violently and very unrealistically in the process! Rc helicopter trouble ?
For xmas I got a e-flite mcx, my first rc helicopter, so I am new to this kind of stuff. I did crass it alot and it flew good after but now servo 2 isn’t working. Whenever I put the battery in servo 2 makes a buzzing noise and the rods don’t move. What can I do to make them move Again. Servo 1 is working good, the helicopter can fly but it cant move around. If i need new parts would hobbytownUSA be a good source, are there any other good places. Thank you
Seems like you jammed the servo. But I can not tell cause I am not looking at it with my eyes. It is best you just take it to HobbyTown USA to have them check it out.

For guys who know rc helicopters?
I have a E-Flite Blade CX2 helicopter and im trying to get a E-Sky Hunter body for my CX2, I dont know if it will fit. I heared they were pretty similar helicopters but idk.. Help?
Here are the Blade CX2 specs compared to the Hunter, Everything with this “class” of helicopter is generally all interchangable, nothing a little trimming with an exacto knife cant fix. i would say you wouldnt have any problems with it working accept you will probably have to trim the hunter body but if you do it will only be a little bit
Good luck!

E-Flite Blade Helicopter
E-Flite Blade Helicopter
Has anyone purchased a BLADE CX2 electric helicopter, made by E-flite? Any problems would be appreciated.?
I purchased 2 of these at $189.00 a piece, and both burned up in one week . I only flew them about 2 hours each. They never crashed just burned of copter circuit board at start up. Any problems to share I would like to here. The manufactor is HORIZON HOBBY. Thanks.
yes i have one. i work at the local hobby shop. we had some issues with this heli. we contacted horizon hobby and basically we found out that the boards will fry underload. meaning if the heli crashes while still underpower or even if it doesnt full out crash, just tips over while powering up. buuuut we also found out that some of the boards are defective and i personly have seen one fry while it was flying. so if you didnt crash then you probubly got very unlucky and both have bad circuit boards. there are two ways to go about getting them fixed. one way is to send them to horizon hobby which will take like 3 weeks to get it back. and they will not just send you a new board, they have to check the heli out for any crash damage to determine if the heli was crashed or not. the eaiset way is to take bring it back to where you bought it and get it replace throught them. horizon lets us replace time for free and we decide weather or not the heli crashed. if we dont think it did we simply order a new one for the costemer which only takes about two days, and put the new one in for them. buuut if you bought it on line and have to send it to horizon make sure you argue to get a call tag so you dont have to pay for shipping. they will most of the time pay for you shipping it too them but they never offer it and sometimes you kinda got to hammer them for it. hope this helps!

E-Flite Blade Cx2 Upgrades

help about the e-flite blade cx3 rc helicopterter?
i was just wondering if i can put blade cx2 helicopter parts onto the blade cx3, i was thinking of upgrading my blade cx3 with cx2 parts
Yes you could. I do not see why you couldn’t. The only difference with the CX2 and CX3 is the heading lock gyro which is rediculously useless in a coaxial helicopter.
