The price for credit card information was the highest with advertising cost of $276 million in the black market and causing $5.3 billion loss worldwide in 2008. Credit card information can cost from $0.10 to $25.
The most pirated software in the black market is the desktop game and count for 49% compare to the other type of software.
These facts actually revealed by Symantec at Norton Summit 2009 recently. As you can see, this is shocking and you should protect your computer and yourself if you don’t want to be part of the statistics.
What’s more, you can buy some of the hackers’ service as cheap as $2 to $10. It’s so cheap that everyone can afford it. They operate just like the normal business and the only difference is in what they do and what they sell.
The most used platform in the black market for all the transactions and advertisements are IRC and web-based forums. From here, people can find any malicious software or services that they need.
It’s very dangerous for us to go online without the proper knowledge. Each day, they’re people who are cheated by the irresponsible people without knowing they had been tricked.
Phishing, keylogger, spyware, adware, trojan horse, worm, and rootkit are some of the threats that we faced online. So, how can we survive if we want to go online?
One word. Knowledge.
Knowledge is very important in fighting online threats and actually, it’s not the antivirus, firewall, antispyware or any removal software that protect us. It’s the knowledge of knowing how to prevent from getting infected that can protect us and our privacy.

how to download an older norton antivirus?
i bought an norton antivirus this spring, and it wasnt cheap. so now i have more computers and want to use my last key and install norton 2009. but symantec has deleted all kind of tracks to this software. how do i get it? mynortonaccount dont work!
Can’t do that legally unless you bought a multi license version of Norton.
Why not try a free AV on your other systems ?
I use and recommend Avast and have honestly never had an infection.

Long Service Awards – AX Holdings employees honoured for loyal service and quality of work
Forty-five employees from within Malta’s most dynamic Malta Hotel business group received recognition recently for an aggregate total of 575 years of loyal service during the AX Holdings Long Service Awards, which were held during a group-wide event at Palazzo Capua, in Sliema. Members of staff who had attained a service of 5, 10, 15, 20 years and 25 years, during 2009 were presented awards to commemorate their commitment to the Group and also to congratulate them for the years of excellent service which is at the basis of all activities embarked upon by AX Holdings.
AX Holdings Chairman, Angelo Xuereb presented each employee with a certificate together with a personalized award and said that “what has made AX Group one of the largest private companies in Malta is the fact that through all its facets, the Group is constantly seeking outstanding staff with a passion for excellence. We believe that our employees make the difference.” Workers within AX Holdings themselves have said that they appreciate the fact they were given the opportunity to grow with and within the Group, to form a family which is succeeding even in today’s hard times. Over the past two years the AX Hospitality Division for Malta Hotels has managed to place seven nominations out of which three were given the S.T.A.R Award. The awards in the STAR Service categories are totally consumer-driven and during 2009 more than 11,000 tourist nominations were received, an increase of almost 50% over the previous year. Hundreds of different individuals working in various sectors related to tourism were nominated, from which 14 winners were chosen, including AX Holdings Hospitality Division employees, testament to the high quality of the AX Employees.

Corporate ERP is one of the first parameters to be checked by potential investors or business buyers.
