Apache AH-64A 1/7 Scale RC Helicopter Model at the 2009 IRCHA Jamboree
This blew me away! I’m way more into airplanes than helicopters, but this Apache AH-64A from indyhelis.com was unbelievable!

Now I wish the Black Hawk was like that.
That is one sweet fuc*ing HELI…
Amazing replica..
Kudos and Hats off to you guys….
well, as you know , this is a very tropical country, however we have a lot of rain for 6 months.
I have seen a few RC planes and elicps, but never showing Apaches, blackhawks, bells 4-12 , Comanches or Chinoks showed in The U.S.A.
@suazosam
You don’t have RC airplanes in Honduras?
At least you have warm weather.
I can’t shoot any more radio controlled airplanes until it warms up a bit.
wen will be waiting for some recent video (smoth flying), like the last time.
we never saw an original machine like that before over here in Honduras.
@suazosam
How rude! The dudes who built this machine out of nothing are as original as it gets!
Awesome, yes! I love noise too!
(mechanical noise, that is)
awesome, i like noise,almost original.
Thanks.
Each of the helicopters was different, so I was continually adjusting the shutter speed. I think this one was shot at 1/4000 sec.
This is a great video. Many show the rotors frozen in one spot due to strobing? In any case, how did you avoid that?
That is awesome…
@griffo0007
Ask IndyHelis. I’m just a stupid cameraman.
@Gigler43
Thanks!
I’m just thankful for YouTube that let’s us share what you’ll never see on TV.
Im just glad there are people who still have imaginations that bring us closer to the things we love in life. Brilliant video and Helicopter.
That’s the one I want .. will you post to England
Thanks! It was a lot easier to follow with the camera than the 3D helis!
Very nice machine, good flying and brilliant video work
I believe that would make it an AH-64D.
no longbow radar system?
too true
that is badass
At least you can afford to watch the video.
I’d get one if i could afford it!!!!
I’m glad somebody was able to afford it!
