Differences between RC Walkera ufo #4 and #5 stability?
I am going to buy a Walkera UFO
Which is the more stable?
I see they have the same dimension but different number of blades per rotor.
Besides the Transmitters are different by channels and length of antenna.
The ufo 5 has a carbon ring to protect each rotor’s blades, it is good for safety, but is it for stability too?
What do you think about all these differences and others?
Which is the best one in your opinion?
Thanks

I’m not sure if you understand the concept of aeronautics, so let me explain to you the reason to get #5.
the RC Walkera ufo #6, would be more stable.
There are more rotors, and this creates more lift on each side of the UFO.
On transmitter transmits radio waves at a higher frequency and it should not cause interference. (2.4Ghz is the best radio compared to and Mhz) One reason that will make this helicopter more stable and less vulnerable for interference from other radio sources,.
The carbon(?) ring is good for protection and good for the electronic speed control; which controls the speed of your aircraft. Anytime there is a blade strike, it will slightly damage your electronics in the aircraft… So… it is good to have that protector ring on it. Also, it will avoid you from damaging the blades. It saves you from spending more money in the future if you are new to the hobby.
Stability wise? Well… it may help keep your blades in track so the aircraft wouldn’t wobble violently.
The difference between this UFO and others? Well… I haven’t had enough experience to tell you, but I can tell by speculations of the aircraft, and just by looking at it.
Personally, I would suggest you get the RC Walkera ufo #5.
You’re welcome,
