RC Helicopter out of the box will not work?
I have a Walkera HM 22#E right out of the box and after the battery is charged the main motor or the tail motor will not work. The only thing that works is the servo motors. What is the problem?
The other guy doesn’t know what he is talking about.
Usually if both motors are not working and the servos are moving only, it means that the electronic speed controller has not been properly armed. It is complicated to describe why it does this, but i’ll say it in a short way so you would understand. If your throttle or throttle trim on your remote control (radio) is not set all the way down to minimal throttle, the speed at which the motors should be spinning will not be synchronized with your remote. Your servos work because they have a spring on the controller that springs them back if you move them up and down or left and right. However, on the throttle, there isnt a spring. It moves where you last left it. so you need to put that all the way down, unplug the helicopter battery and then try again.
If that does not work turn on your controller again, put the throttle stick down and then push the throttle trim downward a few pushes downward.
After following those steps and it sitll doesn’t work, the Electronic Speed Controlled (ESC) is defective and your helicopter will need to be returned for a new helicopter.
