Rc helicopter spinning out of controll?
I have a 7-Channel 3D Aerobatic Walkera DragonFly #60 and i can start the rotors and get it off the ground but it spins so violently i can barely control it. It seems that the back rotor is slightly damaged but it not horrible. I attempted to fool around with those bars and it will minimise the spinning but its still pritty bad.Thanks. (links to diagrams would help)
well… if the rear rotor is damaged, it shouldnt affect it too much unless the propeller is cracked, causing wind to go through the propeller. Cause if its just scratched, it shouldnt have too much affect on it. If you have a belt driven helicopter, did you make sure that the propellers are properly pitched?
If the helicopter is not belt driven, you could always unplug the main motor to see the direction the rear propeller spins, see if it is given the actual helicopter counter torque so the helicopter remains stable when in air. If the helicopter is not belt driven, it could mean the rear motor has also worn out.
