Trex Decking Colors
Has anyone had issues with Trex Decking colors not matching?
I recently purchased a large amount of Trex Accents decking in the Saddle color. It seems like the two batches I purchased from Lowes do not match. It is very noticable that the color shade is way off. I called Trex and they are going to look into it for me, but was wondering if anyone had issues and if so what to do. I want a discount or something it cost me a fortune and I expect it to be a perfect match.

We cut and started to screw it down when we noticed its difference.
Did you already put it down, or did you notice the difference before you cut and screwed it into place?
I didn’t have problems with the color matching, but did you notice the wood grain? Some have it on one side — I was using that side face-up, then got some pieces that didn’t have it on either side.
My lumber dealer came and picked up the pieces that weren’t satisfactory, returned them and replaced them with new ones for me. It was a private company, not Lowe’s, but I didn’t hear anything about Trex being a problem to work with.
