How do i remove infostealer? Its not letting my back up my windows registry?

how can i remove the infostealer virus for free?
i wanted to try to do this:

1. Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)
2. Type regedit

Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)
3. Navigate to the key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
4. In the right pane, delete the value that refers to the file that was detected as the Trojan.
5. Exit the Registry Editor.

but it wouldn’t let me back up my window registry first it says run internet explorer as an administrator but it won’t let me.

and delete every thing in this folder
