Problem with Norton Internet Security?
My Norton Internet security 2009 product was installed about a month ago. I registered it online.
Now, I have received a notice that says
“Your computer may not be protected
Norton Internet Security 2009 is not working properly due to a problem that has occured during LiveUpdate “…
It then prompts me to uninstall via this link
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe
But, I think this link is broken and it does not open?
I don’t want to get viruses, especially when I’ve paid for an antivirus program. What can I do?

run live updates again or open the front page of nortons and click help and support, go to online chat. they are pretty good, its just that you have to be switched on in what questions to ask, and how you tell them whats not working.
the link you given above works and offers you nortons removal tool. if you run this it will remove your purchase. You will have to go to your nortons account and download the program and reactivate it again.
always download as a file (save), run it from the file, rather than running it from the net.
also make sure your file system is NTFS and not FAT
