RC Helicopter Upgrades, Create a Cooler Chopper
A radio controlled helicopter is a cool toy to have. Though they are meant for all ages, some RC helicopters are pretty complex, coming with gadgets and gizmos that most young people wouldn’t even know existed. Here are some of the most common rc helicopter accessories you find in today’s growing niche market along with the necessary components that make up all RC helicopters.
Wireless Video Cameras- Some hobbyists mount wireless cameras onto their RC helicopters to get themselves some amazing overhead footage. Transmitters- These are popular tools because it is part of the radio control system that the pilot holds in his hands. Torque Tubes- This accessory prevents drag on the motor much better than a tail belt and it is 10 times more durable during operation. A torque tube helps drive the tail rotor from the helicopter’s main rotor. It uses a carbon fiber tube or a wide drive that is mounted on the interior of the tail boom with gears at each end. Torque tubes are less tolerant on boom strikes and it tends to strip gears in the event of a crash.
