For me, the Mets have definitely exceeded my expectations (besides our loss yesterday) I can’t believe they’re in first place!

I’m a Twins fan, and they have definitely exceeded my expectations.
I cannot believe they’ve only lost 9 games so far this year. I expected them to compete, but they’ve just been red hot all year.
I’ve been disappointed in some games with different aspects of the team from game to game. Sometimes, the offense disappoints, sometimes it’s the pitching. But from game to game, it varies.
They’ve had great defense so far.
To improve, they HAVE TO call up Slama from the minors, and I’d say replace Crain. He’s a good pitcher when he’s on, but he’s just so inconsistent.
