Sims 3 game is not being recognized by my computer?
Yesterday my Sims 3 Collectors Edition game came and today when I tried to install it, my computer made the spinning noise, but nothing popped up. When I read the trouble shooting tips from the manuel, I went the the drive icon and clicked it but it said that there was no disk in my computer. My computer exceeds the requirements, I have updated drivers and the latest DirectX version, and I restarted my computer but it still won’t work. What can I do?
I’ve already cleaned the drive, it still doesn’t work
yeah that happens to me too when the cd rom drive gets dusty so don’t worry its not the game 
, just wipe down the disk tray and try again. If it still wont work try opening and closing the tray really fast.
