How do I make my Dynamode R-ADSL-C4W-EG wireless router secure.PC and Laptop run XP and router has no USB port
You need to go into your router settings and change the default username and password first thing. Second thing is make a ssid name, shnge the channel that it broadcasts on from the default on. Then either setup wpa or wep security for the wireless. On your laptop, when you run the wireless network setup wizard. Set it up manually, then you won’t have to use a usb drive. When you try to connect to your network, it will ask for your wep, or wpa key and it should connect. If it doesn’t connect, reboot the laptop, and it should connect. I do this all the time for a living and have never had a failure yet with this method.
