I was looking at the lyrics of Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite,” and somebody said that the phrase “We gon’ light it up like dynamite” is a drug reference. What do you think that phrase means?
it’s not a drug reference. it supports the slang references about things & places being “booming” – going off. Dynamite goes boom.
When there’s a good vibe & the party or club is happening folks say it was “blowing up” – my guess is that where the tangent lines get connected.
