Business degree confusion and picking schools?

Hello everyone. I have a few questions regarding business degrees and schools, namely which degree is the most attractive/viable/dynamic to future employers.

I am choosing between two different branches of one school. The first is University of Washington-Tacoma campus which offers a bachelor’s in business admin and a MBA along with CPA exam classes. That’s it. The school is new, but it’s closer, and I can live at home.

The second school is UW- Seattle, the main campus which offers bachelor’s degrees in finance, economics, management, ect. It offers an MBA program as well, and obviously this school is more prestigious.

If I wanted to get into the finacial side of business, what route would be the best choice for me? Would getting a business administration bachelor’s degree gimp me? What about management?

Additional details: I’m preparing to enroll in a local community college so that I can save money and transfer to one of the listed four year schools.

If you really want to go into the financial side of business, then you should major in Finance. In business admin, you will learn some of everything, but thats it. You probably wont learn alot about finance and admin is about the same as management (i think)

UW-Seattle is a pretty good school for business. It even made it on to Business Week’s 2007 top business schools for undergrads list (its ranked somewhere in the 20s)
