I would use this tv more for gaming with PS3 and watch movies. Keeping in view of this how would you rate this tv.
For a LCD TV…that’s a really good tv! Sony is very reliable and high quality! That’s why they’re so expensive!!!
However, dollar for dollar you’re better off investing that kind of money on a Panasonic or Samsung Plasma TV! They have the superior picture quality of the HDTV world! Their newest models now have 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio’s(40,000:1 native), and 600hz refresh rates! Not even the new LED backlit LCD’s can compete with that!
That Sony you’re looking at is good and will have a good pic quality, but the Plasma’s i listed will have a much better pic!
