Did all 4 doors,,,,doing the floor next!
Overall the product was fairly easy to install…cut and paste! I just got done installing the dynamat extreme on all four doors and the whole trunk of my 2000 Impala and it made a big difference. The car was noticeably quieter and the doors felt a lot more solid. Cant wait to do the floor next.
Can’t Really Go Wrong With Dynamat Extreme
This is my second time using this product and though there may be another product as good or better, Dynamat Extreme does what it advertises.
I mistakenly bought a product I can’t even remember the name now but it was cheaper than Dynamat and what a mistake. When it got hot out the ‘other’ sound dampner fell off the rear deck. When it is cold out it’s coming off. Gravity and an inability to stick; total crap. I lined the hood of my trunk with Dynamat Extreme six years ago and it’s going to car crusher with the car someday ’cause it ain’t never coming off. The other stuff fell off the sides of my trunk as well. I still have a roll of the other stuff left and it will go on the floor where gravity will help it stay in place. Can’t stand to waste. The Dynamat is going on the doors where I know it will stay put and do what it advertises. Good stuff. Don’t be fooled by cheaper dampner making claims. There’s nothing like seeing a hunk of dampner hanging by one corner just about to fall. Dynamat stays in place and dampens. No more rattle, and no hassles.
This stuff actually works!!!
Just finish installing this on the front doors and entire floor of my honda civic, and it is much quieter at highway speeds than before and the music is much louder at the same level before installing!!! great stuff if your looking for quiet ride. plus it easy to install.

I own a Dodge Dakota QC……bought 1 box……shipping was just awsome and first thing I noticed was the box was alot smaller than I thought lol X) but I started work on my doors first……its funny cause the doors are hollow so i got the best idea ever and put acoustic treatment inside the door panel! made sure the window has clearance to move and than I put the Dyna mat on……next took out all the seats and Carpet lol lots of work for one person but anyways I only had enough Dyna mat to cover the the first half of my Cab! Dang….so I give it a test drive and let me tell you I have my exhaust cutoff right under the right passenger and its beastly but sometimes annoying…..I start it up and it was weird cause I could only hear behind my seats where i didnt lay any dynamat down….so when i finish laying the rest of it in my truck ill let you guys know how it sounds

2. Did not think it take so long to add to my car, but I was wrong. It took upwards of 40 hours. I did the entire car. inside the car, trunk, and under the hood. I also bought a molded carpet with the extra rubber on the bottom of it.
3. I used truck liner spray under the wheel well.
4. Padded the license plate.
5. Bought the extra hood liner.
Total Cost: $720.00
For the exact same song I went from listening to that song at a vol of 25 because of the outside noise and the engin to 13 after words. The car now is quite with no rattle. Its great to get outside the car and listen to it. Just booms. No rattle. The muffler rattled a little, so I screwed it tighter. This stuff is amazing! I am pushing 2 4,000 watt amps to two 12″ subs. this stuff really does work dispite what people say. Sure I think you could get it cheaper or make it yourself, but why, its made for you here and does the job! I did have lots of cuts on my hands and fingers after finishing this up. I did not need the roller. If its cold the stuff does not mold as easy, but if you heat it up with a blow dryer or heat gun it well go into place. I do not know how other people do it, but make sure to keep an eye out where the screws go because once it is on its hard to find. I ended up placeing screws in the holes then laying it over and pushing the screw through the Dynamat. Boom Boom Boom. not blah blah blah.
