The 500 is the ideal size for stablity, visibility, and cost. However, it is still not cheap. Once you outfitted it out with all the required components, this will cost close to $1000. RC helicopter is an expensive hobby and will cost thousand of dollars.
Silky smooth control with loads of power.

I’ve been flying the T-Rex 500 ESP for a couple of weeks now, this heli is simply amazing! The control linkages are silky smooth and you can really feel the quality while flying. Loads of power for any 3D move you can think of. I use an Outrage 3000mAh pack from CompleteHeli for 7-9 minute flights on the stock motor and pinion. I put a Spartan ds760 with a JR DS3500G on the tail, incredible holding power! More visible than a 450, not as expensive as a 600, hits the sweet spot for price.
