Laptop Battery Charger – Most Important Accessory for your Laptop
So, you have bought a new laptop, and are looking for information on which laptop battery charger to use. Many of you don’t know that there are numerous laptop chargers available in the market. You will never run out of choices when it comes to buying a laptop battery charger. This is because they are available in all types and models and can be obtained at different prices which suit all types of budgets.
Laptop chargers vary from brand to brand and model to model. This variation is based on voltage, amperage, chemical composition, battery designs and so on. You need to match the battery charger with your laptop model for compatibility and exact fit. Some of the well-known makers of battery laptop chargers are Toshiba, Hp, Acer and Compaq.
The Acer’s AcerNote 300 battery chargers offer 100% compatibility and come with a one-year warranty. These are also more economical as you can buy them for a price ranging from $37-$57. You will also get numerous choices in laptop battery chargers if you own a HP laptop. This is because HP has a huge collection of battery chargers such as the 2133 Mini-Note and the series of business notebook chargers. The price of an HP laptop battery charger starts at $23 and can go up to $96 or even more. Toshiba laptop battery chargers have a high quality and are also available at a competitive price. They also come with a one-year warranty and start from $26 onwards. One of them is the Toshiba Tecra L2 series that you can buy at $42; it comes with a power cord and an input of 100-240V, 50/60 Hz and 1.8A and with an output of 3.42A and 19V.
If you want a laptop battery charger that is compatible with multiple laptop brands then you should definitely take a look at the Amstron’s 60-Watt battery laptop charger. It is compatible with Acer, Compaq and HP notebooks. This battery charger for laptop can stand even the bad mobile environments and is sealed for protection against high humidity and moisture. It contains exclusive internal safety features that secure your laptop from hazardous electrical elements. It also filters input line voltage surges or spikes and comes with a warranty of one year.
Laptop battery chargers are something which people cannot afford to lose, but the chances of misplacing them is high and hence you need to know where to buy good quality laptop chargers. If you want to save then you can easily buy a charger online, though all of the chargers are available in stores.

Microsoft Dynamics GP Sales Order Processing Module in eCommerce and Warehouse Management
Before you decide on purchasing and implementing new Corporate ERP application, we assume you do your homework, including reading various reviews and user’s opinions. This publication is intended to give you some initial info on Microsoft Dynamics GP, sometimes also referred by its historical name – Great Plains Dynamics, we will give you high lights on Sales Order Processing (SOP) module: settings, transactions, its openness to customization, integration, reporting and how it might be involved in ecommerce and warehouse management scenarios. We tried to be reasonably technical (your IT department, programmers, report designers) and at the same time understood on the controller level or even business owner:
1. General functional review. SOP gives you the power to automate your sales cycle, starting with Quote, then working all the way through negotiation (including hold options, where quote price negotiation might be blocked by Sales director) and transforming Quote to Sales Order (or directly to Invoice, if Order fulfillment is not a concern). Order allows you to pick and pack items (or possible find replacement parts). Order also has Allocation feature (also often referred as Fulfillment in WMS lexicon). There is also Backorder mechanism, allowing you to order missing parts from suppliers. When Order is fulfilled – it is transformed into Invoice. Sales Document has access to Inventory items, plus in some cases you may use Service items (they do not require allocation, but you can still track Quantities Sold in reporting and inquiries) or even so-called non inventory items (simply free style text on the SOP document lines). Returns are also entered in SOP transaction entry form
2. SOP Settings. Here you specify defaults, such as site ID (or default warehouse to allocate or pick items against the SOP transaction: Sales Order or Invoice). In data entry defaults you specify such parameters, as what to do in the case of Quantity Shortage (Override Shortage, Sell Balance, Backorder Balance, etc.). You have the option to name user defined fields (and you can force them as required in Dynamics GP Modifier module). You also can define process holds – hold is placed automatically if you assign it to SOP Type ID and can be only removed by authorized Dynamics GP user, as specified in the hold’s settings. Plus – additional features, we are trying to be reasonably laconic.
3. Sales Order Processing customization. The most popular modification tools are Microsoft Dexterity (also often referred as Great Plains Dexterity), Modifier with VBA, Visual Studio Libraries for GP (often you need to be also familiar with Dexterity to be efficient in extending Great Plains screens by C# or VB.Net programming, especially in such capacities as introducing and adding new table directly in Dex)
4. SOP integration tools. We recommend Dynamics GP Integration Manager, which is open to end user and only requires introduction level training; plus IM has good exposure to integration logic alteration via VBA event handlers. If you are focused on real time integrations, IM has the options to schedule integration to run in quasi real time, say every 15 minutes. Another tool, or rather SDK is Dynamics GP eConnect, where you can add eConnect libraries directly to your Microsoft Visual Studio project and trigger creation, change or deletion of Great Plains master records (Customer, Vendor, GL Account, Addresses, Employee, Inventory Item, etc.). Obviously in both IM and eConnect programming scenarios you can pull data from non-Microsoft DB platforms, such as Oracle, DB II, Progress, Pervasive SQL, MySQL – they just need to be ODBC compliant
5. SOP Reporting. The most popular report you typically want to modify is Invoice, where you usually place your company logo, disclaimers, fit it to your company custom envelop for mailing. These modifications are done in Dynamics GP Report Writer. Also you have numerous SOP related reports in SSRS (Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services), we also often see Great Plains customers to deploy Crystal Reports, MS Access, direct web publishing. With Dynamics GP version 2010 you will see more options with Excel reports. If you plan to design reports in Crystal, you should probably review Dynamics GP table structure – it is available either via GP SDK or if you are in user interface simply follow this command: Dynamics GP->Tools->Resource Descriptions->Tables. You should be able to find info about such tables as SOP10100 (SOP Header for work document), SOP10200 (SOP line for work document), SOP30200 (SOP header for posted document), SOP30300 (SOP line for posted transaction)
6. SOP and eCommerce. SOP transaction is one of the most popular targets for e-commerce shopping cart integrations (such ecommerce shopping cart platforms as Magento/PHP, ASP .Net Storefront)
7. SOP and Warehouse Management System. WMS opens Dynamics GP for Barcode scanning; such feature as Order Fulfillment is done with direct integration to SOP Invoice or Sales Order without automatic allocation – your WMS user (warehouse worker with Barcode scanner) does the allocation manually on the warehouse floor
8. SOP and EDI (Electronic Document Interchange). If you are large or midsize manufacturer or wholesaler, chances are high that you are requiring your customers or franchisees to place their orders via EDI channel. EDI media often works via FTP, email, http post. EDI in this scenario creates and allocates SOP Invoices or Sales Orders (or sometimes just allocates or fulfills in EDI jargon)
9. Dynamics GP availability internationally. It is available in English speaking countries: USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, plus it is available in South East Asia where English is used as the language of business: Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, also in Oceania. There is Canadian French version for Quebec/Montreal. Dynamics GP is also available in Spanish for Latin America and Caribbean basin

Dynamics Gp 2010 Upgrade Path
Dynamics Gp 2010 Upgrade Path
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010/11 Version Update considerations
If you are on Dynamics GP version 10.0 or 9.0, please be aware that upgrade to 2010/11.0 is service pack sensitive, so do not try it on your own internally by simply inserting Dynamics GP 2010 DVD into your CD/DVD drive. In our opinion version 11.0 has lesser number of Great Plains business logic redesigns (comparing to Dynamics GP 10.0 where the whole User security model was built from scratches). If you decide to rush to upgrade to 11.0/2010, be sure to discuss service pack dependency with your Dynamics GP Partner or Reseller. Let’s review Dynamics GP version update highlights and if you do not have your question answered feel free to call or email us:
1. Why do I need to upgrade to Dynamics GP 11.0? There are noticeable improvements in user interface intuition, now you can have more reports pushed down to Report Writer, or simply estimated and deployed in Microsoft Word templates. You can now bulk email SOP Invoices to your customers via your email office channel (previously you had to deploy SQL mail or other custom mechanisms)
2. Transition from FRx to SSRS or possibly even Excel reports. FRx financial reporting is and was very reliable technology to design and maintain P&L, Balance Sheet, and even consolidated versions of these reports. FRx technology layer and look-and-feel are probably still the same with some improvements, as we remember FRx for Great Plains Dynamics 6.0 and earlier versions
3. Upgrade now vs. waiting. If you system doesn’t have customizations or add-ons, and you only deploy financial series, upgrade to 2010 is probably the good idea (especially if you organization is in innovations business and you can capitalize on broadcasting your experience with new version of Dynamics GP). However if you are on the conservative side or depressed with current economic conditions and have difficulties to allocate upgrade budget, this is fine and safe – wait first or even better the second service pack released for Dynamics GP 2010 and then go ahead with upgrade activity
4. Dexterity Customization Upgrade. Microsoft Dexterity was confirmed on Convergence 2010 in Atlanta to be valid programming environment for Dynamics GP 11.0/2010 and for the future versions. Please, contact your original Great Plains Dexterity developer or if this person is no longer available, check with your Dynamics GP Reseller if they have access to Dynamics GP Source code program – this is important for reliable Dexterity Sanscript code review to make it compatible with the new version
5. Reports upgrade. FRx, Report Writer reports needs to be reviewed and included into the upgrade scenario
6. Dynamics GP Add-ons upgrade recommendations. Here you have to call your Dynamics GP ISV partner and check with them if their Add-on (which is part of your Dynamics GP Business processes) is available for the version 2010 (sometimes you may discover that this provider went out of business, so this call is really recommended to be on the safe page)
7. Upgrading from Great Plains Accounting for DOS, Windows, Mac 9.5, 9.2, 9.1 or Great Plains Dynamics on Pervasive SQL 2000/Ctree or Btrieve 7.5, 7.0, 6.0, 5.5, 5.0, or earlier. Currently we recommend you traditional migration path which ends up on Dynamics GP 10.0, where you can apply required service pack and go the next level to the version 2010. Down the road, there might be the situation, when Microsoft Business Solution releases the direct migration tool to the version 11.0
8. To request further help, please call us 1-866-528-0577, 1-630-961-5918, in Michigan 1-269-605-0330 or email us help@albaspectrum.com If you are large wholesaler or distributor, you may expect that some level of WMS or SCM customized business logic should be programmed to automate your unique business processes. We are available to serve you USA, Canada nationwide, and internationally. Local service in Chicago, Southern California, Western Michigan, Houston, TX

Differential Equation Model?
the differential equation dx/dt = x + ax^3 = f(x) model the control of ovulation. in this equation x represents the amount of hormone and a is a constant.
a) sketch f(x)
b) analytically compute the location of all fixed points
c) algebraically determine the stability of these fixed points
d) from an initial condition of x=1 describe the dynamics as t approches infinity
I’m not sure how your teacher expects you to do part (a) because the specific shape of f(x) depends on the value of the constant, “a”. If you were given a value for “a”, then simply make a table of values of x and f(x) = x+a*x^3, and draw a graph of f(x) vs x.
For part (b), you need to know that the fixed points (also known as equilibrium points) of a differential equation are the points at which first derivative of the dependent variable are zero. In this case, that means the points at which dx/dt = 0.
Again, the actual values of the equilibrium points depend on “a”, but we can solve for the points in terms of “a”:
dt /dt = 0 = x + a*x^3
0 = x*(1 + a*x^2)
This equation is satisfied when x = 0, +1/sqrt(-a), and -1/sqrt(-a). Obviously, if a is positive, there is only one real root at x = 0. (The other roots are imaginary.) If a is negative, then there are three real roots.
(c) The stability of an equilibrium point depends on the sign of the second derivative of the independent variable (the first derivative of f(x)) at that point. If the second derivative is positive, then the equilibrium is unstable, and a small perturbation from the equilibrium point will cause the system to “move” away from the state represented by that point. If the second derivative is negative, then the equilibrium is stable, and the system will return to the equilibrium state if it is subjected to a small perturbation. If the second derivative is zero, then one needs to do some additional analysis to determine the stabilty.
In this case, we have:
x” = f’(x) = 1+3*a*x^2
At x = 0, f’(x) = 1, so this is an unstable equilibrium point.
Assuming “a” is a negative number, we also have that:
At x = +1/sqrt(-a), f’(x) = -3, so this is a stable equilibrium point, and at x = -1/sqrt(-a), f’(x) = -3, so this is also a stable equilibrium point.
(d). Unless you know the value of a, you cannot answer this.
